Hi, my name is Adam and I hope you enjoy visiting my photo a day blog. I think this site is great and really enjoy uploading my photos to share with others in the community. I think there are some tremendously talented people on this site and they are a great inspiration. Briefly, I live in Swansea, Wales which is part of the United Kingdom. I take photos when I can in my spare time and on holiday. I enjoy the processing part as much as the actual taking of the pictures. Hope you keep visiting.

Photography Equipment

I use two cameras at the moment. One is the Canon EOS 400D which I got about a year and a half ago and the other is a Sony Ericsson camera phone (my second one these) that I use in places like football matches or for chance, candid opportunities. I only have the standard lens with the Canon but hope to try some different ones in the future. I did briefly have a tripod that I bought in Spain but it got damaged and is now in my garage not used. My only previous real camera was a Minolta that I used to have to use hand metering with. I loved it when I was 16 and took loads of Black and White photos in Wimblebon. This was when Tracy Austin and Andrea Jaeger were playing! As far as I know the negatives are still in Boots the chemist as I could not afford to pay for the prints and alas I never saw them again.
